On 9 June 2026, LU Banku augstskolas associate professor Inga Uvarova and professor Natālija Cudečka-Puriņa participated in the Latvijas Radio 1 programme 🎙 “Kā labāk dzīvot”.
During the discussion, the researchers explored how old items can gain a new life through reuse, repair, and resource-sharing practices. The conversation highlighted examples from Latvia and other countries on how cities are promoting circular economy approaches, sustainable consumption, and community-based sharing initiatives.
The discussion also reflected key themes of the TransScale project, including:
- circular economy development,
- urban sustainability transitions,
- resource-sharing practices,
- and strengthening community engagement in sustainable lifestyles.
The programme invited listeners to rethink everyday consumption habits and explore smarter and more sustainable ways of living.
