In June 2026, Inese Mavlutova from the BA School of Business and Finance participated in Girona’s International Staff Week 2026, organized by the Universitat de Girona in Spain.
During the event, the EraNet DUT Partnership project TransScale was presented, highlighting topics related to circular economy, sustainable urban development, and urban transitions across Europe.
The presentation focused on the importance of circular economy initiatives in cities, as well as the challenges of scaling sustainable solutions and integrating them into urban systems.
Participation in the international staff week provided an opportunity to exchange knowledge, establish new international collaborations, and promote the TransScale project within the academic and international community.
