TransScale Mid-Term Consortium Meeting in Poznań – A Shared Step Forward

Date: August 21–22, 2025
Location: Poznań, Poland
Hosted by: Adam Mickiewicz University (AMU)

Partners of the TransScale project gathered in Poznań for the mid-term consortium meeting to assess progress and jointly plan the next steps. The two-day workshop featured presentations from all five Work Packages (WP1–WP5), identification of synergies, and discussions toward a shared analytical framework for the second phase of the project.

Day 1 – Work Package Updates & Thematic Discussions

The first day focused on results achieved so far and building cross-WP dialogue:

  • WP5 provided insight into cross-cutting findings and highlighted data from local case studies.
  • WP1  presented initial results from the Futures Literacy Laboratories and outlined the path toward national reports.
  • WP2–WP4 offered a range of perspectives, from empirical data insights to platform development and governance approaches.

Each presentation was followed by a joint discussion, enabling partners to align interpretations, share lessons learned, and surface coordination needs across the project.

The day concluded with a joint dinner and informal networking, strengthening collaboration beyond the meeting room.

Day 2 – Publication Strategies & Future Planning

The second day shifted focus to dissemination and forward-looking coordination:

  • Partners exchanged ideas for co-authored papers, presentations, and upcoming conference contributions.
  • Concrete topics, potential co-author teams, and suitable journals or special issues were discussed.
  • The final session addressed action points and milestones for the next phase (M18–M36).

The TransScale team thanks all participants for their valuable contributions, openness, and collaboration. This mid-term meeting marked a key moment in shaping the project’s collective direction, fostering integration across disciplines and countries in support of circularity, sharing, and sustainability transitions.
