Discover the Hub for Building Materials and Renovation Item Exchanges in Riga!

Are you aware of the incredible resource available at the “Nomales” recycling center in Riga?

SIA Clean R has established a vibrant hub at Nomales, Brīvnieku iela 11, Rumbula, where you can leave, take, or exchange building materials and renovation items—all for free! This initiative not only helps you declutter but also supports sustainable practices within our community.

As part of the TransScale project, we are excited to collaborate with Clean R to explore the environmental impact of this hub and its vital role in promoting a circular economy. Our research aims to evaluate how such exchanges contribute to sustainability and resource efficiency in urban settings. We will also assess the impact of scaling out this model to other neighborhoods and cities, hoping to demonstrate the benefits of material exchanges and encourage more communities to adopt similar initiatives.
